“ This is my go to spot when I need my Bangladeshi food fix. This place is fairly consistent in terms of flavor throughout the many years it's been around or at least whenever I go. On the plus side for me, it no longer sets my mouth on fire, just a mild slow burn. I've played Bengali roulette for most of my life (is this a string bean or a chili pepper?), and I always lose T_T . Not this time Satan... not this time. I managed to distinguish which ones were the peppers and the string beans. I got my usual: Chicken Biryani - they overused a certain spice. It was so overwhelming, I could not eat the rice without masking the flavor of said spice with the dal. Cabbage Vaaji - sweet, lightly flavored, good on it's own, but better with rice Dal - flavorful in its own right. There are other things I've tried in the past. You can't really go wrong with what you pick, unless you're sensitive to chili peppers. In that case, talk to the person behind the counter for suggestions that are less spicy. This is a men dominated spot - for those who might be uncomfortable. Even though there are seats and such, only the local men actually dine in here. If you're a woman going in, try to cover up if you can out of respect to their culture. ”
